据马来西亚《南洋商报》报道，马来西亚掌管地方ZF、旅游及文化委员会的吉兰丹州行政议员拿督达基尤丁说，吉兰丹是全面禁赌的州属，即使搓麻将也不被允许，因此，华裔庆祝新年期间不可“冒险”DB。 [table]
